Here's how to permanently delete your PawPrint account, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.
Open Profile, scroll to the Danger zone, and tap Delete account. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm — this prevents accidental deletion.
Your profile, dogs, PawPilot Memory, walks, watchlist, and community posts are deleted or anonymised so they're no longer linked to you.
Records we're legally required to retain — such as payment and refund history — are kept only for as long as the law requires, then removed.
If you reported someone, or someone reported you, that safety record is kept for 12 months and is not deleted with your account — it is evidence about what was reported, so it has to outlive the account that filed it. Your name is unlinked from any report you filed. Anything you typed into a report stays as you wrote it. At 12 months the record is deleted by a monthly job, not by hand.
Deletion doesn't automatically refund a subscription. If you have active Premium, cancel or request a refund before deleting your account.
Once deletion completes it can't be undone, and your data can't be recovered.
